Tactile Indicators

Guardian Tactile Systems was incorporated in March 2003 to manufacture and market unique, design registered, non fade, non slip and non delaminating tactile ground surface indicators for the vision impaired that fully comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1428.4:2002).

This system is known as the Guardian Tactile Ground Surface Indicator and is guaranteed for 10 years.

Our tactiles have been tested by the CSIRO and given a slip resistance rating of R12. See the CSIRO Test Reports.

Guardian Tactiles are now made from Bayer "Desmopan" high-tech polyurethane.

Strong, durable and conceived with extreme conditions in mind, the Polyurethane Product gives the tactile tiles a lasting edge and superior performance.
